Open letter to the Tired and Depressed– Hang in There

Open letter to the Tired and Depressed

I know you’re tired, I know you’re this close to giving up, you’ve given it your all and so much more, but you have to keep going, you have to move. A man who wishes to move mountains must first learn to carry small stones.

You start there, you’ve gone far, now keep going. Work half done is worse than work not done. Quitting is ok if it ain’t worth it anymore, but you know that it is. So get your shit together, pick the pieces up, carry the damn bags and take it one step at a time. It may hurt, it may be heavy, but God damn, it sure will be worth it. It won’t matter how many times you fall, how many times you lose your grip and let go. The important thing is you make sure pick it up again and keep walking till you break down once more. Believe me, you will, but when you get to the place where you wanna be. When you finally get to put the bags down and rest your aching feet, you will finally realize what everything was for. You will finally know who you really are and what you are made of. When that time comes, you can finally look people in the eye and say, you did it all and you did all you could and you deserve to be where you are and what you have become.
